Welcome to Coushatta, Louisiana!
Coushatta is the seat of Louisiana's Red River Parish. Coushatta is located about 40 miles south of the twin cities of Shreveport and Bossier City, and about 30 miles north of Natchitoches. Because of our location, we are the perfect place for boating, hunting, fishing and other recreational activities that are enjoyed outdoors.
